Penny Waller Mackey

Penny Michelle (Waller) Mackey, 52, of Dawson, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at her home near Navarro Mills Lake. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 29 at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard with Rev. Ricky Woodall officiating.
Penny was born May 24, 1972 in Waco and was raised in the Hubbard and Dawson area. She was a graduate of Dawson High School and had lived in Waco for several years before moving to Navarro Mills. Penny worked for Redman Bingo in Waco for 12 years but had also worked her whole life for her dad, Billy Mac Waller at Country Kitchen in Hubbard and Dawson and at Bill and Bob's in Waco.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Travis Waller.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Mackey, Sr. of Dawson; her parents, Billy Mac and Gail Waller of Hubbard; six children, April Mcgolrick of Hubbard, Hali Mackey of Hubbard, Kerria Mackey of Arlington, Stephen Mackey, Jr. and spouse, Stephany of Lorena, Phillip Mackey of Hubbard and Daquwan Mackey of Houston; three brothers, Wesley Waller and spouse, Jasmine, Jeff Waller and John David Waller and spouse James; her twin sister, Kimberly Waller and Misty Waller and many grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
