Penny Meisler, a devoted teacher and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on 15, 1939, Adrienne dedicated over 35 years of her life to teaching at Chicago Public Schools, where she inspired countless students with her passion for learning.
Beyond her remarkable career in education, Penny had a rich array of passions. She loved art and often found joy in expressing herself creatively. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel, exploring new places and cultures. Fashion was another interest; she had a keen eye for style. Penny was also deeply committed to activism, advocating for causes close to her heart, and she held a special affection for animals and the ocean.
She will be remembered fondly by her family and all those whose lives she touched during her remarkable journey.
