Penny Parrish Obituary
Penny's kindness and dedication touched the lives of many special needs children through her work in the Wake County School System. She was a member of Vision Church and previously of Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church. Penny was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Penny is survived by her son, David G. Parrish, Jr.; daughter, Kristy M. Parrish; grandchildren: Stephen D. Parrish and Caroline E. Parrish.
In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her husband, David Graham Parrish, Sr.; brothers: Robert Tomlinson and Roland Tomlinson.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, November 10, 2025, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
A service to celebrate Penny's life will be held at 2:30 pm, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery, 3328 Forestville Rd, Raleigh.
