Penny L. Waldschmidt

Penny L. Waldschmidt age 67, of Holland, died Saturday, October 4, 2025 at her home following a lengthy battle with COPD and Cancer. Born in Lapeer Michigan, Penny attended Cosmetology school after graduating High School. While she enjoyed serving others by cutting hair, she went on to a career in the hospitality industry where her welcoming and kind personality helped others feel at home. Penny moved to Holland several years ago to raise her family and called Holland her home. Penny loved to spend time with her family, camping, and working in her garden. She also loved to watch a wide array of sports, and was an avid Michigan, Lions, and Tigers fan. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons and grandchildren, Richard and Laura Waldschmidt(Charlotte and Elijah), Ryan Waldschmidt, her Mother, Martha Dotson; her Significant Other, Dave Clark; and several nieces.
