Perdita Scafe Obituary
Funeral services for Perdita Lorraine Scafe, 95 Lawrence will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2025, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence, with a visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, KS. She passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at her residence.
Perdita was born January 7, 1930, in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Clarence and Iva (Paradise) Green.
Perdita married John Scafe on December 27, 1949, in Kansas City, KS, and he preceded her in death on May 28, 2018.
Perdita was a world traveler, living in six different countries on four different continents. She spoke Spanish and Portuguese.
Survivors include her three children, Pamela (Jonathan) Jackson, Becky (Gordon) Chappell, Chris (Sharon) Scafe; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Cynthia Scafe; and one son, Philip Scafe.
Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to Douglas County VNA and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
