Perla Ruby Tejeda (18) and Anthony Alexander Hernandez (14) were taken too soon from us July 28, 2025. Beloved children of Antonio Hernandez and Angelica Gonzalez. Loving sister and brother to Ophelia. Dear niece and nephew of many. Cherished grandchildren and cousin to many. Perla and Tony had many close friends that will hold their memory in their hearts.
Perla and Anthony spent much of their time together. They weren't just siblings but best friends. Their laughter, kindness, and deep connection to each other brought joy to everyone around them. Their absence leaves an unimaginable void, and they will be deeply missed by their family and all who know them.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Dr. McHenry IL from 4:00-8:00pm. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, August 6, at The Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 Bull Valley Rd, McHenry, IL at 11:00am, with an hour of visitation at the church beginning at 10:00am. Interment to follow at The Church of Holy Apostles Cemetery. Perla y Anthony pasaban gran parte de su tiempo juntos. No solo eran hermanos, sino mejores amigos. Su risa, su amabilidad y su profunda conexión mutua trajeron alegría a todos los que los rodeaban. Su ausencia deja un vacío inimaginable y serán profundamente extrañados por su familia y por todos los que los conocieron.
Habrá una velación el martes 5 de agosto de 2025 en Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Dr., McHenry, IL, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m.. La misa funeral será el miércoles 6 de agosto, en The Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 Bull Valley Rd, McHenry, IL, a las 11:00 a.m., con una hora de visita en la iglesia a partir de las 10:00 a.m. El entierro se realizará en el Cementerio de The Church of Holy Apostles.
