Perry Huff Obituary
Born August 22, 1951, in El Paso, Texas, he was the son of the late Rev. Billy Eugene Huff and Amanda Lena Gibson Huff. Perry was a 1969 graduate of Wade Hampton High School. He earned an associate degree in Art from Gordon Military College in 1971 and later graduated from East Tennessee State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education.
Perry faithfully served as a former music director and pastor at Screven Baptist Church in Georgetown, South Carolina. He was a long-time umpire for Northwood Little League and USSSA Baseball. He was a current board member and youth leader at Greenwood Community Church of the Nazarene and was actively involved with Greater Greenwood United Ministries.
Surviving is a son, Christopher Eugene Huff (Emily) of Greer; a sister, Ann Morine Rux (John) of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania; a grandson, Conner Eugene Huff (Cameron Ray) of Greer; and step-grandchildren, Javier, Mateo and Olivia Torres.
Receiving of friends will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2026 at Greenwood Community Church of the Nazarene with a memorial service to follow from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Castello officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darby and Rosemary Bell, George Gardner, Grayson Pinacho, and Emmanuel Garcia.
Memorials may be made to the Greater Greenwood United Ministries, 1404 Edgefield Street Greenwood, S.C. 29646.

Perry was good friend of mine we worked together for a few years and played Golf together but loved fishing more.
Perry was a good human being very active in his community and church he will be missed but he is in better place with our lord Jesus Christ. RIP Perry.

I´m very sorry to hear of Perry´s passing. We were in the band together at Gordon College. I have very good memories of of all the fun and shenanigans we pulled off. Perry was right there with us. We found each other on Facebook and communicated here and there for the last couple of years. Rest in peace old friend.

Perry was a participant in the aqua aerobics class I lead at the local Y. He kept us laughing with his silliness and jokes. I will miss having him on this planet, but rejoice in his Homegoing. I'll see you later, dear friend.
