Perry A. Julius, 66, of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2025, at UCONN Hospital. Born on July 22nd, 1959, in Meriden, CT. Perry was the son of the late Anthony and Lucille Julius. Perry leaves behind his loving wife of 39 years, Alison, and his three greatest accomplishments, his oldest son, Anthony Julius and his wife Mandi, his daughter Emma Zakszewski and her husband Scott, and his youngest son, Steven Julius and his wife Allison. He was blessed to be a proud and loving grandfather to Henry, Jace, Leah, George, Stephanie and Anna. Perry is also survived by his brother, Mark Julius and his wife Diane, his brother-in-law Blair DuPont and his wife Jackie, and his mother-in-law Dolores DuPont as well as several nieces and nephews. Perry grew up in Meriden, CT attending Mount Carmel School and then attended St. Paul Catholic High School in Bristol where he starred in football and wrestling. He was a proud member and the captain of the 1976 undefeated St. Paul Falcons football team. It was in this time spent at St. Paul where he met his lifelong friends as well as meeting the future love of his life, Alison DuPont. Perry and Alison were married on February 14th, 1986, and together raised their children in Bristol. He was an avid sports fan. Whether he was watching his favorite teams or watching his children play, you could always count on him to be there. More recently, he had the great pleasure of watching his grandchildren, never missing a game. Perry also loved vacationing in Narragansett, eating oysters at Matunuck Oyster Bar and sitting at the beach watching his grandchildren boogie board in the waves. His family meant everything to him and brought him tremendous joy. He often spoke that his greatest accomplishments were his children, and he could not have been more proud of the people they have become. His constant presence in all of their lives will be sorely missed and never replaced.
