Perry Dawson Williams, Jr., 78, of Clear Creek, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley.
Born December 29, 1946 at Artie, he was the son of the late Perry Dawson Williams, Sr. and Gertrude (Hodge) Williams.
Perry was a retired coalminer, a member of UMWA, and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He spent many years selling, installing, and repairing conveyor belts. He was an avid golfer and outdoorsman.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a step daughter, Trena Stover Toney; four sisters, Vera Glass, Christina Musser, Tina Stover, and Phyllis; three brothers, Terry Williams, Marty Williams, and Douglas Williams.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Jesse Dawson Williams of Bradley; three daughters, Jenny Williams-Rosenbaum of Florida, Brandy Jo Rodenhouse of Michigan, and Joy Cadle; two brothers, Lonnie Williams of Dorothy and Bobby Williams of Clear Creek; and Michelle whom he considered like a daughter; eight grandchildren, Carlie K. Williams, Seth, Jocelyn, Loralai, Peyton, Jenna, Dominic, and Jaron.
The family would like to especially thank Marty and Jerenda Williams for their friendship and also caregivers.
Services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Mount Hope with Pastor Sam Peterson officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
In keeping with Dawson's wishes, he will be cremated following the service.
