Petar Aniscenko

Petar Aniscenko, 87, of Saddle Brook, N.J. passed away on December 21, 2025.
Born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, he was the son of Gregor and Velinka (nee Lilic) Aniscenko. For many years he worked as a foreman for Nabisco Company in Fair Lawn, N.J. before retiring. Petar was a longtime and active member of St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church, Paterson. He took great pride in preserving his cultural traditions and was especially fond of Serbian folk dancing, which brought him a strong sense of connection to his heritage. In his younger years, Petar was deeply involved in coaching soccer, generously giving his time and energy to mentoring young athletes.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Gordana Aniscenko; children, Tanya Tancordo and Delimir Branovich.; cherished grandchildren, Peter Tancordo, Jessica Rainey, Aleks Branovich, and Andreas Branovich: and treasured great-grandchild, Landon Rainey.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home 486 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove. Funeral Ceremony will be on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church in Paterson. Kindly meet directly at the Church.
