Pete was a kind, generous, humorous, and most importantly, selfless person. Pete endured some life bumps that many people have never experienced in their own lives. He lost two loving wives to cancer. He lost his youngest son at an early age. When Pete was asked, "how you doing?" He always answered, "pretty good, nothing hurts". In all his travails during his last few months on this earth, he never complained, even though he had a hell of a lot to complain about. Complaining was just not in his DNA. He cared about whomever was calling much more than himself.
