Arnold Wayne Doll was born on July 28, 1934, in Cromwell, Indiana to Theries & Minnie (Simon) Doll. He was known to most everyone as Pete. Pete passed away peacefully at home on August 14, 2025, at the age of 91. Pete dedicated his life to family and serving others.
From an early age, Pete learned the value of hard work on the family farm. Lessons that would shape his approach to life. Pete was a proud patriot who honorably served 8 years in the Army National Guard as a Master Sargent demonstrating his commitment not only to his county but also to his community. His other careers include being an Ag Specialist at Cecil’s Tomato Factory, a butcher and grocery story manager. Lastly,he worked inventory control at Chore Time Brock. In retirement, he helped his wife, Becky, in her business at Doll’s Decorating Center, as her right hand man.
Pete was a passionate community member and was instrumental in the start-up of Wawasee Bible Church, where he worked on construction projects and served as Treasurer in the church's early days. His profound faith and love for the Lord guided his actions and interactions with those around him.
Outside of his professional life, Pete always had time as an avid hunter and fisherman to create forever memories with his sons while taking numerous trips together. He was known for being kind, generous and had a unique sense of humor.
Pete is survived by his loving sons, Dan (Kiley) Doll, David (Bobi) Doll, and Dick (Julie) Doll, as well as his cherished grandchildren: Jamie, Jacob, Adam, Alex, Katie, Brooklyn, Brittany and Priscilla. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren: Liam, Rebecca, Roman, Brieanne, Zack, Theo, Ellabelle, Winter, Raiden, and Mason. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Becky of 64 years with her passing on March 10, 2023,his parents, Theries and Minnie Doll, as well as his siblings Elvin, Mike, and Ellabelle.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services are entrusted with care of Pete. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 4 PM to 8 PM. A Life Celebration® Funeral will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025 beginning at 10:30 AM -All Services will be held at Wawasee Bible Church, 2035 E 1300 N, Milford. Pastor Josh Weiland will officiate.
