Janice Doll, age 85, of Jefferson City, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at StoneBridge Villa Maire in Jefferson City, surrounded by her loving daughters.

Janice was born on September 12, 1940, in Peoria, Il., a daughter to the late Morris Emerson and Mildred “Pete” (De Moss) Clark.

She was a 1958 graduate of Ritenour High School in St. Louis.

Janice was raised in St. Louis. In 1979, she and her husband moved to Linn, where they owned and operated a local business. She later went to work at Dillards and then she went to work for the Missouri Department of Revenue for fourteen plus years, until her retirement on July 1, 2010.

She enjoyed crafting, even being featured in the County Circuit magazine years ago. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

Janice is survived by her three daughters, Diane (Pat) Hoover-Brandt of Linn, Tracy (John Swoboda) McCuskey of Wentzville, and Lisa (Dan) Campbell of Jefferson City; seven grandchildren, Claudia Brandt, Peter Brandt, Lexi McCuskey (Patrick), Anna (Corey) Dominick, Doug Swoboda (Tara), Clinton (Samantha) Campbell and Curtis (Hannah) Campbell; five great grandchildren, Skyla, Tinsley, Harlow, Kaiden and Daisy; two sisters, Judy Land of the State of Florida, and Beth (Andy) Jordan of St. Charles; a sister-in-law, Sharon Clark of St. Louis; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by one brother, Larry “Butch” Clark and one sister, Lynn (Tom) Stewart.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in the Linn Public Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
