Albert Maurice Hoener, "Maurice," age 88, of Linn, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville, Missouri.
Maurice was born on September 12, 1937, in Bay, Missouri, a son of the late Albert and Esther (Kraenow) Hoener. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. After completing his military service, Maurice returned to the family farm, where he worked diligently until his health no longer allowed him to continue.
Maurice was a dedicated member of the New Haven American Legion Post 366 and a faithful member of the Evangelical St. Paul Church in Cooper Hill.
He is survived by three sisters: Janice Walker and her husband Jack of Jefferson City, Joyce Helling of Mexico, and Shirley Leimkuehler of Linn; one brother, Leroy Hoener and his wife Carol of Toney, Alabama; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Maurice was preceded in death by his former wife, Doeleda (Deppermann) Hoener, who passed away in 2007; and two brothers, Donald and Ralph Hoener.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Marty Guise. Interment with full military honors will take place at Bay Bethel Cemetery in Bay.

Maurice's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
