Peter was a Rotary Club colleague and a faithful participant in one of our Book Clubs. I also looked forward to hearing Peter's insights on current topics of the day as well as his insights into the books we were reading and discussing. I will miss you, Peter. Rest in Peace, my friend.

Peter had a great sense of humor and allowed his students to write their own story, by celebrating his story, and thus having a story together... here's to an office full of newspaper, and a man full of good will.

Condolence Message for Dr. Peter H. Armacost
It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Dr. Peter H. Armacost, a remarkable leader, visionary educator, and faithful servant. For more than four decades, he devoted his life to higher education, serving as president of Ottawa University, Eckerd College, and Forman Christian College in Lahore, Pakistan. His leadership extended far beyond the academy as he guided religious, civic, and professional organizations with wisdom and integrity.
Dr. Armacost´s legacy is also profoundly felt at North East Christian University. As a strategic and generous board member of Friends of NECU, he tirelessly gave of his time, wisdom, and resources. He personally wrote NECU´s five-year strategic plan, coached its leaders, and worked with determination to find donors who could make its vision possible. Even in his final days, he remained committed-calling regularly to share insights and ideas for strengthening the mission of NECU. His legacy of service, vision, and faith will endure in the lives of all who were touched by his leadership.
We are comforted to know that his legacy will be honored through the dedication of the Armacost Hall floor in the CARS building at NECU-a lasting testimony to his devotion and love for the university. He will be greatly missed as a mentor, a friend, and a faithful partner in God´s mission.
May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his life continue to inspire generations to come.
