Peter Barr Obituary
Peter had a zest for life that was contagious to all that met him. He loved golf, wood-working art, water volleyball, and helping others. His greatest passion was his grandchildren and he was always there to love and nurture them. Papa was often referred to as the "yes" man and the kids knew it! He made friends wherever he went through life and was always a thoughtful and caring person. He wanted people to know, as Frank Sinatra said, "I did it my way".
There will be a private service for family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Joanne's House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs, FL, 34135.

My deepest and loving sympathies to you, Kare and Jason. Peter will remain a special part of my life. His sense of humor and very quick wit was his gift t the world. My prayers and blessings to you and your loved ones.

So sorry to hear of Pete's death. It came as such a complete surprise because all my memories of him are as a total ball of energy. Have known Pete all through high school, college and graduate school. What was even more rewarding was the fact that we ended up working closely together for about 12 years! He was always thoughtful and supportive and ready to help in any way he could. He'll be missed! May God grant him and his family peace.
