Peter Bastolla, Sr
March 24th, 1934 - May 11th, 2025
Peter Bastolla, Sr., 91, of Groveland Florida, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday May 11th, 2025.
Peter was born the oldest son to Nicola and Margherita (Pandolfo) Bastolla in Sant' Aresnio, Italy. Peter, along with his parents and five brothers, sailed over to America when Peter was 21 years of age. They started and raised their family in Woburn, Mass.
Peter is survived by his loving wife Constance (Gentile) Bastolla for over 65 years.
Father to Anthony and Margie (Poposky) Bastolla of Altamonte Springs, Fla. Daniel and Ann Marie (Moghabghab) Bastolla of Salisbury, MA. Peter Bastolla, Jr. his namesake of Groveland, Florida.
Peter was predeceased by his baby brother Anthony Bastolla, his brother Joseph and wife Mary (stella) Bastolla of Woburn, MA.
Peter also left behind his brothers Frank and Elisa (Guarracino) Bastolla of Woburn, MA.
Angelo and Diane (Leach) Bastolla of Tewksburg MA.
Peter was also survived by his two grandchildren Brandon and Kayla Bastolla, the lights of his life, of Salisbury, MA.
Peter is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and so many dear friends.
Peter worked tirelessly in construction in Boston, MA. alongside his brother Joseph. Peter later moved up to be a supervisor position with T Equipment Corp and was with the local 22 Union for 40 years until his retirement in 1999.
Peter's true passion was making beautiful woodworking from bookcases, tables, clocks, and anything that caught his eye. He was very creative with the woodwork projects and would love to gift his projects to his family and friends. He also loved watching sports and became a regular at the golf course twice a week with his son, Peter, Jr. up until his passing.
Peter was, and always will be remembered, as a kind and generous man by all who knew and loved him.
He will be greatly missed.
