Peter Baumgart Obituary
A Celebration of Life for Peter will be held at a future date.
Peter was born March 21, 1956 in Nekoosa, WI to William and Bernice (Fahl) Baumgart. He was employed for Domtar Papers Inc. for 40 years, retiring in 2020. Peter married Karen Gardner on January 12, 2005 in Wisconsin Rapids.
Peter enjoyed working on his parent's farm and doing farming. He also enjoyed going out in the woods and chopping wood and hunting. Peter had a passion for building things, especially picnic tables. He always tried to live his life to the fullest and enjoy all life had to offer.
Peter is survived by his wife Karen, son Felix Gardner, grandchild Eden Spitrtuse, siblings: James (Dawn) Baumgart, Allen (Linda) Baumgart, Susan (Douglas) Hanneman, Henry (Lori) Baumgart, Betty (Ronald) Gilson, in-laws: Joyce Beatty, Ron Beatty, Gene (Pat) Beatty, Dean (significant other - Bonnie) Beatty and is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Lloyd Baumgart, Frank Baumgart, Edwin Baumgart, Wayne Baumgart and mother-in-law Mildred Beatty.
