Peter Bernard Biese, age 68, passed away on June 5, 2025. He was born on July 13, 1956, to Eugene and Elizabeth (Thein) Biese in Kaukauna. He grew up in Kaukauna with his 12 siblings. He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1975, and during his high school years he began work at AMPI, Inc in Sherwood. Following high school, he met a gal at the ball diamond across from Countryside Bar. It wasn’t love at first sight, for she was a “girl” who struck out the cocky tough guy on the boys’ team. He was a nice guy, however, and he won her over. Their first date was at Countryside, and in 1978, Susan “Sue” Kosiorek and Peter were married, and three sons later, their family was complete. Pete worked for 30+ years as a water plant technician for Menasha Utilities.
Pete enjoyed the outdoors. Camping, fishing, softball was top of his list. He was a skilled gardener. His flower garden was a masterpiece! He was a wild Packer and Brewer fan, and the house was divided as Sue was a Cubs and Bears fan. He was a jack of all trades-though not always successfully! Sometimes the plumbing leaked, but he was always willing to try. Far away adventures were always part of his life goals. He and Sue traveled to Jamaica, the Gulf Shores, The Dominican Republic and nearly every major city in Mexico. They enjoyed stateside trips as well from Gatlinburg to Nashville and even Las Vegas-though he didn’t like it much and never returned. Family was everything to Peter. He loved playing with his grandchildren and helping out his sons.
Pete is survived by his wife Sue, his sons: Craig (Steph), Erik (Jackie) and Ryan (Megan); grandchildren: Gage, Ryker, Sebastian, Kyla, Brynn, Levi, Mason, Henley, Reya, and Iris. He is further survived by his siblings: Tom (Terri) Biese, Jim Biese, Mary (Randy) Cottrell, Anne (Brian) Kienert, John (Nancy) Biese, Gene (Shar) Biese, Bill (Jinny) Biese, Dan (Sara) Biese, Peggy (Dave) Wittmann, Anita Biese; brother-in-law Joe (Sue) Kosiorek, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Donald Biese; sister Sue (Dick) Paveletzke; nephew John, and great niece Elizabeth and his in-laws Joe and Pat Kosiorek.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Pete will always be remembered for his infectious smile and contagious laugh.
Pete’s family would like to thank the staff at ThedaCare Appleton, ICU for their compassionate care of Pete and his loved ones. In addition, special gratitude to Pete’s nephew and niece Joe and Beth and his sisters for their constant guidance and love.
