Mary Biese Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hansen Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Green Bay on Nov. 25, 2022.
Mary Rose Biese, 73, Green Bay passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Mary was born on October 29, 1949 in Beaver Dam, the daughter of the now late Arthur and Anna Theresa (Steder) Dewey. She grew up in the Green Bay Orphanage and in a foster home farm in Upper Michigan. She attended Menominee High School. She had several factory jobs before having children and then she was dedicated to being the best mom she could be.
Mary loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. She loved attending The Salvation Army. She loved reading the Bible and learning more about Jesus. She was a very loving and kind person and will be remembered for her warm spirit. She always had a smile no matter what was going on around her. She poured her heart and soul into making sure her kids and bonus kids knew how special they were and they could do anything in life they wanted to. She taught her children to be strong and never back away from a challenge. She taught them to face their problems head on. She was so special to so many people, this loss is running deep. She will be deeply missed by so many.
Mary loved to do lots of different crafts. Her favorites were embroidery, crocheting and beadwork. She loved doing the crafts and giving them away to others as special gifts. She was an avid packer fan and never missed watching a game, unless it was during church and then she hurried home as soon as she could at least see part of it.
Mary is survived by her 4 kids whom she was very proud of: Theresa (Adam) Kaquatosh, Jesse (Regina) Guyton Dewey, Sara Dewey, Jessica Dewey, her grandchildren Leona, Kingston, Tatianna, Alexiz, Demianna, Savannah, Sierra, Myles, and Marcin. She also had many bonus grandchildren that she loved very much. Her Brothers Richard (Joan) Dewey, Bob (Sharon) Dewey, Diane Hrdina, Rose Denis, and Mike (Peggy) Dewey, and countless nieces and nephews, and her many special friends from The Salvation Army including Harriet Schoenebeck.
She was preceded in death by: Her mother Anna Theresa (Steder) Dewey and father Arthur Dewey, Brother Arthur Dewey, her sisters Shirley Gauthier, Susan (Fred) Bessler, and Elizabeth Dewey, her 6 grandchildren that never took a breath, her cat Kush, and her special friend Tim Maloney.
Gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 P.M.to 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 in the Chapel of The Salvation Army, 626 Union Court Green Bay. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. with Major Ron Lemirand officiating.
