Peter Nichols Boehm Jr.

Peter Nichols Boehm Jr., "PJ", passed away on Saturday 12/27 at St. Vincent's Hospital leaving behind a grieving community, a legacy of kindness, and a life lived with an extraordinary heart. He was one in a million and a source of light to all who knew him.
PJ graduated from University of Miami, Herbert Business School with a double major in Finance and Economics in May 2025. He was a 2021 graduate of Ludlowe High School, Fairfield. PJ is best remembered for who he was - fun loving, generous, deeply kind, and endlessly curious. With confidence and authenticity, he treated everyone with warmth and humility. His presence lit up every room he entered, and his boundless energy infected his wide circle of friends. PJ had many passions and interests. In particular, he loved boating with his dad, Peter, and traveling with his mom, Mary Kate.
PJ leaves behind his beloved father Peter Nichols Boehm Sr. (Lya Schulz) and mother, Mary Kate Klemish Boehm (Mark Beacham) both of Fairfield. PJ was loved and cherished by his paternal grandmother, the late Lois Boehm and grandfather the late Walter Boehm Jr., his maternal grandmother, Marilyn Klemish and grandfather, the late William J. Klemish Sr. PJ was the beloved nephew of William Klemish Jr. and his wife Lori, John Klemish and his partner Dani Fernandez, Michael Klemish and his wife Sue, Christine Walker and her husband John, JoAnn Boehm, and Jacquelyn Steedle. PJ was adored by his many cousins and their children. He lives on in their hearts, in the hearts of his extended family and countless friends.
Friends may call on Friday Jan. 2 from 4-7pm at Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Rd. E, Westport, CT. A funeral mass will be held at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Westport CT at 11:00am on Saturday January 3rd. Burial at Assumption Cemetery will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Connecticut Humane Society (cthumane.org). PJ had a tremendous love for dogs, especially his yellow lab, Bella. PJ lived with a brightness and purpose that will never be forgotten. His legacy is not only in his achievements but in how he made others feel. He was truly one of a kind and that is how he will be remembered.
