Peter Calulo Obituary

Born in Candijay, Bohol, he earned his degree in Business from Far Eastern University in the Philippines. Post graduation, he became a successful car salesman achieving awards as #1 producer in Ford Supercars Company in Manila. Peter immigrated to the United States in 1970 at the age of 32. After moving to New Jersey, he enjoyed an accomplished career in real estate and was a dedicated realtor associate for multiple realtor companies such as Berg Realty, G2 Realty, ReMax Realtors, and Realty Executives in Edison until his retirement at the age of 65.
Peter's life was complete with his wife, Leose, as they enjoyed walks together, trips to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal shrine in Philadelphia, PA and Blue Army shrine in Washington, NJ and enjoying their children and grandchildren. He was known for his vibrant personality, magnetic charm, and boundless zest for life. He had an infectious love for karaoke, dancing, and entertaining friends, often bringing the house down with his favorite Frank Sinatra classics. Whether he was hosting a gathering, singing "My Way," or tearing up the dance floor, Peter made every moment a celebration.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Leose; his sons, Stephen, Peter-Glenn, and Terence; his daughters-in-law, Christine, Danielle, and Jhanice; and his cherished grandchildren: Avery, Gisel, Liam, Leila, Logan, Xavier, and Landon.
Peter was predeceased by his parents Juan and Inocencia. He was predeceased by his siblings: Lorenzo, Esmeralda, Catalino, Paulo, Pepito, Junior, Cirilo, Teresita; and survived by his siblings: Jose, Minda, Cora, Maria, and Antonio. Peter's warmth, humor, and joyful spirit touched everyone he met. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered in every song sung, every dance shared, and every laugh echoed among those who loved him.
A formal visitation will be held at the Gleason Funeral Home on Monday August 11th, 2025 from 4pm-8pm.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Matthias Church in Somerset on Tuesday August 12th, 2025 at 11am.
Entombment and a chapel committal service will take place at the Mausoleum of the Holy Spirit at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
