Peter "Pete" Carpenter, age 59, Of Wauwatosa, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2023, from injuries sustained due to a fall. He was born on February 25, 1964, in Fond du Lac, WI, born to Daniel and Phyllis (nee Lord) Carpenter. He is survived by his brothers David (Patty) Dennis (Sue) Carpenter, his sisters Susan Carpenter, Sally (Mike) Nelson, his twin sister Paula (Mitch) Hintz, his sister-in-law Pam Carpenter, his Nieces, Nephews, along with other relatives and his many friends.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dan Carpenter along with Nephews Christopher and Ryan Carpenter.
Pete was a dog lover and left 4 dogs behind that now have new loving homes. He loved Formula One racing and attended many races around the country. He was an avid Packer and Brewers fan and attended many opening days over the years. Pete loved country music and Duran Duran. He owned many souped-up cars and loved doing home improvement projects. He was a very techie guy and was working at ABT Electronics in Glenview, IL.
A Celebration of Pete's life will held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 12:00 PM with a visitation for family and friends starting at 10:00 am until time of service, all to be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Wisconsin Humane Society in Pete's honor.
Pete touched so many lives and will be truly missed by his family, friends, co-workers, and everyone that knew him.
The family would like to thank the staff at Froedtert Hospital Neurological Intensive Care Unit and Froedtert Center for Advance Care for all their wonderful care they gave Pete. He will always be our "Iron Man."
