Peter L. Cleaveland

RICHFIELD SPRINGS – Peter L. Cleaveland, age 63, of Bronner Street, passed away on Wednesday evening, August 21, 2024, in his home. He had the loving comfort of hs family by his side at the time of his passing.
Peter was born on August 15, 1961 in Sidney a son to the late Adelbert L. and Reta A. Place Cleaveland. He was raised and educated in Sidney and had at one time worked for the Sidney Department of Public Works. On July 7, 1984 he married the former Colleen Baker in Delancy a blessed union of 40 years.
He loved the outdoors, he enjoyed, hunting and fishing, and nature in general. Most of all he loved music.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son Matthew Cleaveland, two daughters Alycia Cleaveland, Laura Cleaveland, two brothers Adelbert Cleaveland and Danny Cleaveland, many grandchildren, a great-grandson, several nieces, nephews, cousins and his friend Thomas Sieger.
He was preceded in death by a sister Paula Cleaveland.
A celebration of life for Peter is in the planning, a time to be announced in the near future.
