Peter Stephen Cohn, 87, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Linda E. White Hospice House.
Peter was born in Woodstock, New York on May 4, 1937 to the late Hans Cohn and Hilde (Pfingst) Citroen. He honorably retired as Captain from the United States Navy. Throughout his life, Peter enjoyed skiing. He loved model trains and playing Bridge. Above all, Peter loved spending time with his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Peter will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Peter is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Hall (Cody) of Gap, PA and Lisa Murray of Evansville, IN; son, Stephen Cohn (Christine) of Amherst, NH; grandchildren, Christopher Hall (Sara), Ryan Murray (Amanda), Erin Murray, Arielle Kenoyer (Joseph), Colby Hall (Serena), Justin Cohn (Jaclyn), Cameron Hall (Mary Catherine), Jonathan Cohn, Juliana Cohn, and Landon Murray; and 8 great-grandchildren
Peter was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Ruth Howard and Barbara Cohn; and his son-in-law, Rod Murray.
No services will be held at Browning Funeral Home.
