Peter Michael Coon

Peter Michael Coon, age 76 of Robertson Wyoming Passed away at home Dec 11, 2025.

Peter was born Nov 20, 1949, in Winslow, Arizona to Edward and Lillian Miner Coon.

Peter spent his youth camping, hiking, hunting and fishing in the hills around is hometown of Showlow, AZ.

After graduating from Snowflake Union Highschool in 1968, Peter served his country as a United States Marine.

After an honorable discharge in 1972, Peter lived in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Utah,

With his young family Joanne Storrud Davis, Jessica, and Lucas. When Peter started working at

FMC trona mine he made Bridger Valley his home, where he would spend his free time enjoying the outdoors.

When he retired in 2014, he spent most of his time trail riding in Wyoming, Montana, and Arizona, always appreciating a

Good fire and a glass of vino. Peter is survived by his children Jessica Chamberlain (Aaron) of Worland, WY

Lucas Coon (Kim) of Lyman, WY Soulmate, Misty Yoak of Robertson, Wy

Grandchildren, Arora Wagner (Sean), Kristopher Coon (Shalyne), Bryan Coon (Jane), Alayna Coon and Ethan Coon

6 great grandchildren Bonus family, Halie, Vince and Rylie Ramoz, Zack Johnson 

Sister Kathy Brown (Tom) of Showlow, AZ. Brothers Eugene Coon of Showlow AZ. Larry Coon (Ada) Apache Junction, AZ

Peter was proceeded in death by his parents Edward and Lillian Coon, Sister-in-law Trudy Coon, family member Lindsey Johnson

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In Lieu of flowers please donate a few hours of your time picking up garbage,

keeping campsites and firepits clean.
