Peter DeMasi Jr.

Peter DeMasi, 76, of Lake City, Florida, passed away after a long illness on the morning of October 23, 2024, in his home, with his wife and son at his side. Peter was born in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the Late Peter and Florence DeMasi. He is also preceded in death by his stepson Terrill Deron, and his sister Mary Ann DeMasi Espizito.
Peter is survived by his wife, Julia DeMasi, his son Justin DeMasi, his stepsons, Tory (Matt Deron) and Derrill Deron, his stepdaughter Angelia Phillips, his sister, Carolyn DeMasi Garner, his niece Jenifer Garner (James Garner), his great niece Charlie Garner, his step grandchildren Derrill Deron Jr., Devin, Anthony and Cory Phillips, his step granddaughter Nikiyah Griffin and Great Grandson Jamie Philips.
Peter was a graduate of The University of Tulsa. He worked and retired from the Education Department of the Florida Department of Corrections after 30 years of service. Peter had a great love of Sports, and his favorite sports team was the "New York Yankees." His greatest joy in life is the time he spent going to baseball games, traveling with, or just spending time with his wife and son.
A private service will be held at Faith Chapel North, in Pensacola, Florida.
Peter will be buried alongside other family at Morgan Cemetery in Molino, Florida,
