My Friend Pete.
I will always remember why I went to greenville to snowmobile and it was because Pete made it feel like I was in town with family. Always cheerful and willing to help in any way. Our friendship grew over the 20yr span with staying in touch. Catching up over dinner or a coffee. You will always be remembered never forgotten my friend....I will miss you Bro...........

The first time I was invited to snowmobile with Pete he decided to show me how to ride. And what a day we had. Running up the lake and showing me his favorite spots.

Pete helped take care of our camp and always did a great job. He was so big hearted and fun and a perfectionist in anything he did. We have great memories of hanging out with Pete, his advice was always solid and often funny, talking about what to do in a bear encounter... "don't act like food". It was so sad when he lost Cross fire, such a sweet dog. I hope they're together... We will miss Pete dearly. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

I grew up with Peter in Falmouth. He was two years ahead of me in school. Most of my siblings are older, so I was very close with that class. He was always so special and easy to hang out with.
Over the years, I would visit Greenville and stay at his camp, which is now unfortunately taken over by his sisters. He was always so generous. It´s been a long time since I´ve seen him, but hearing about this was so sad, and I want to extend my gratitude for having known him.

I met Peter at Big Lake Marina the year he arrived when we stopped in for gas. He prepared a dock line for Nancy and I by weaving the strands at the end of a rope. He must have spent nearly an hour and did a beautiful job.
Pete was probably the most self-reliant person I have ever known. He liked to do everything himself and would seldom accept a hand from friend or stranger. His accomplishments though perhaps meager by some standards were indeed gargantuan by others. To my mind he is an archetype whose strong character provides proof of the indomitability of the human spirit.
