Peter Ferrill, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on April 11, 1954, in Little Rock, Peter dedicated his life to his family and a variety of successful ventures. He was a well-respected entrepreneur who owned several businesses, including the Southern Window Cleaning Company and Pete Ferrill Trucking. In addition to his entrepreneurship, Peter worked for over 15 years at Barker Excavation, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Peter was not just a businessman; he was a man full of life, laughter, and love. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed joking around with those who were fortunate to know him. An avid dog lover, he shared his life with his loyal fur baby, Sammy, who brought him much joy. Peter was also passionate about raising horses and spent time as a farrier, honing his skills and sharing his knowledge with others.

In his free time, Peter's adventurous spirit led him to pursue a variety of hobbies. He took pleasure in Bigfoot hunting and explored his interest in amateur geology, often venturing into the great outdoors. Additionally, Peter enjoyed spending time at the casino, horse races and playing the lottery embracing life’s uncertainties with enthusiasm.

Peter leaves behind two children, Matthew Ferrill (Hannah) and Emily Ferrill (Matt), who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and laughter, and his loyal fur baby, Sammy. He shared a deep bond with the mother of his children and best friend, Marianne Finan, who supported him through life’s journey. Peter is also survived by his siblings: Michael (Sue), Susan (Ron), Beverly, Patrick, Clark (Barbara), and Anne (John), each of whom will miss him dearly. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, more family and friends. He is remembered fondly for the love he had for his family and his infectious spirit that touched the hearts of many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Nora Ferrill, as well as his sisters Virginia and Lea. Peter is also remembered for the fur babies he adored, Coco, Lucy, and Patrick, who await him across the rainbow bridge.

Peter Ferrill will be deeply missed by his family and a host of friends who will cherish the memories made with him. He leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him, forever remembered for his laughter, kindness, and zest for life. Private services will be held at a later date.
