Peter Koutris Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cannon - Catavolos Funeral Home - Parma Heights on Sep. 14, 2022.
Peter "Petey" J. Koutris, went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2022. He was born in Akron, Ohio on August 9, 1999 to Jeffrey S. Koutris and Janeen L. McCurry.
Peter was a graduate of Ashland High School in 2018 and obtained his Diesel Mechanic certification from the Pioneer Center & Technology Center in Shelby, Ohio. He worked at Kenworth in Ashland as one hell of a Diesel Mechanic.
Peter was truly one of the kindest souls you could ever meet. He made friends with everyone, and his smile was so bright it could light up any room he walked into. His personality was one of a kind, and his laughter was so contagious you couldn't help but join in. He had a passion for working on trucks and cars, an obsession with anything camo or OSU, and a deep love for fishing and spending time with his family.
Peter was an amazing son, he loved his parents more than anything. He cherished his fishing trips with his mom and their silly Snapchat pictures they would take, and his road-trips and working on cars with his dad. He was a devoted uncle and he loved playing with his nephew any chance he got. He was a protector to his sister and the best grandson around.
He leaves behind his Father; Jeffrey S. Koutris, Mother; Janeen L. McCurry, Sister; Ashley J. Hanson, Nephew; Jaxson J. Goodwin, Grandparents; Peter J. Koutris, Cynthia (Tom) Liparoto, Jan Vollrath and Nick McCurry, Uncles and Aunts; Ross (Kim) Koutris, Timothy (Heather) McCurry, Angie (Tommy) Edwards, and many cousins and friends.

I am Haley's grandma and I laughed so hard at Peter and Haley watching the two of them put a new screen in my front door. Peter always was a great guy and I will miss him.
