Peter J. LaMarque

Peter LaMarque, 80, died November 17, 2023, after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma with his family by his side.

Peter was born in Brunswick, ME on December 11, 1942, the son of the late Roger LaMarque & Claire (Philippon) McLean. Peter was the husband of the late Chantal (Belanger) LaMarque with whom he shared 27 wonderful years of marriage.

Peter leaves behind Stephan LaPointe and his wife, Susan, of Rome, GA, and Fabien LaPointe and his wife, Teri, of Wilmington, MA. He was the very much-loved Papa of Chantal, Renee, Katelyn and David, and was also a very dear friend to many.

Peter enjoyed spending time out in nature, either chasing that elusive 10 point buck every hunting season or teaching Katelyn and David how to fish all while hoping he would catch a trophy walleye out on the lake.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 9th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03104. Services will immediately follow at the same location at 11AM.

The spreading of Peter's ashes will take place next summer at the cottage he and Chantal shared in Canada.
