Peter LaRocca Obituary
He graduated from St. Mary's High School, Jersey City New Jersey in 1966 and married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life Joyce Gloria Smith November 15th, 1969.
Peter received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering technology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1977 and later earned his Executive MBA from Penn State University in 1985. He was a member of the American Society of Nondestructive Testing, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Acoustic Emission Working Group, and the Committee on Acoustic Emission from Reinforced Plastics.
Peter and his wife moved from Wall Township, NJ to the Greenbriar Woodlands community in Toms River, NJ in 2004. Together they enjoyed the many activities the community offered with their friends.
He enjoyed spending time with his family especially around the dinner table, traveling to warm destinations like the Caribbean and playing golf with friends and family. His biggest passion later in life was his love of photography. He was always looking for that perfect shot.
Peter is survived by his wife of 52 years, daughter Denise, son Michael and wife Carla along with granddaughter Emma.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Silverton Memorial Funeral Home on February 12, 2022 from 1-5pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

I just learned of Pete's passing. I too had the pleasure of working with Pete. Pete was a very good person, and his passing is truly a very big loss. He many times put a smile on my face and the faces of others, and he was one of those people who made the workplace a better one. My sincere condolences to all of the family.
