Peter J. Loeffel

Peter J. Loeffel of Pelham Manor, NY, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2023, at the age of 74. Born in Switzerland to Arthur and Maria Loeffel and raised in Merrick, Long Island, he was the oldest of four children. Peter graduated from Calhoun Highschool in Merrick, NY and then completed his bachelors of science business degree at the NYU Stern School of Business. Peter met his wife Pamela, of 42 years in 1974 and they married in Oyster Bay, NY in the winter of 1981. They raised their three children in Pelham Manor, NY.   Peter is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela Loeffel, daughter Clara Grace Loeffel and grandson Andrew Loeffel of Pelham Manor, NY, son Michael Loeffel and wife Emily Loeffel, grandchildren Suri Loeffel, Harper Loeffel and Ethan Loeffel of Houston, TX and son William Loeffel and wife Lauren Bertin Loeffel of Yonkers, NY.  Peter is also survived by his three younger sisters, Betty Gross of Harrisburg, PA, Michelle Loeffel Wines of Bowie, MD and Patricia Loeffel-Hess of Emmitsburg, MD, their families and many friends.   Peter J. Loeffel worked as CEO of HPC Manufacturing Group for over 30 years, after serving proudly and with honor as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Infantry. Peter was a marksman and pistol expert, enjoyed politics, political discourse and traveling, especially to Texas to see his beloved grandchildren. Peter was an avid boater and sailor and shared his love of the water with his beloved grandson Andrew.   Visitation will take place Saturday, June 3, 2023 between the hours of 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham, NY.  A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. John's Lutheran Church located at 1 Van Roo Avenue, Merrick, NY.
