March 5, 1955 - August 6, 2025

GANSEVOORT, NY - Peter Marshall, age 70, passed away tragically at his home in Gansevoort on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

Born on March 5, 1955, in New Jersey, he was the son of Robert Marshall and Joan Faber Marshall.

Peter was a proud graduate of Wayne Hills High School, Class of 1973, and went on to complete two years of college. He worked for many years as a skilled wood craftsman at Lord Lumber in Gansevoort, where he was known for his dedication and craftsmanship and passion for his Lord Jesus Christ.

Peter had a passion for woodworking and horses and was also an exceptional heavy equipment operator. He was a man of many talents and a kind heart who touched the lives of those around him.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda M.; his daughters, Kim and Jacqueline; his beloved mother, Joan; sisters: Debbie, Beck, and Susie; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will deeply miss him.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Adirondack Christian Fellowship, 8 Mountain Ledge Dr., Suite 2, Wilton, NY 12831. Phone: 518-587-0623.
