Peter S. McBrair, age 81, of Moorestown, NJ, passed away on December 28, 2025.

Peter was born on June 17, 1944 to the late Margaret (nee Jordan) and Henry Clay McBrair in Glen Ridge, NJ. He and his two brothers grew up in Caldwell, NJ. Pete graduated from James Caldwell High School and went on to obtain his BS in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and later went on to complete his MBA in Business Administration at Penn State. He met his wife Wendy in high school and their relationship continued through the college years. They married in 1967 and began living in South Jersey where they resided in Medford since 1975, and more recently Pete and Wendy moved into The Evergreens in Moorestown in 2024.

Pete's career began in retail at Strawbridge and Clothier and Fotomat. Later, he moved into Direct Marketing at Colonial Penn Insurance Co. and The Hartford. As Senior Vice President, Pete oversaw the growth of an innovative Personal Lines insurance program in collaboration with AARP.

Pete enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, boating, family events and vacations at their homes in Harvey Cedars on Long Beach Island, NJ and Beaver Lake in Franklin, NJ. He enjoyed music, traveling and history. He also created a catalogue business in 1979, Aids for Arthritis inc, which sold self-help products to people with arthritis. Pete served on the Exec. Committee of the Headwater Village Civic Assoc. for 17 years. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and North Carolina basketball team.

Pete is survived by his wife, Wendy (nee Winkler); his children, Craig (Daurie Ann) and Farryn McBrair Harte; his brother, David (Joy); grandchildren, Kate, Taras, Emily and Dolan; many loving nieces and nephews. Pete is predeceased by his brother, Robert (Judi).
