Obituary of Peter Wilfred Monette
Peter Monette passed away on October 3, 2022 at the Élisabeth Bruyère hospital, after a lengthy battle against cancer. He will be dearly missed by his Wife Francine Archambault (nee Trudel), His daughters Amanda Marcantonio (James) and Sherry-Ann and His Stepson Mathieu (Patricia)
He will be missed by his cherished Grandchildren Breanna, Logan, Jacob, Tristan and Ariana, who he loved to spoil and spend time with.
He was the Dear Brother of Daniel (Linda), Sue (Gerald), and predeceased by his Sister Lorraine (Gary). He also, leaves behind, All his nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.
He will also be missed by all that were touched by his generous ways and his dedication to volunteering in the community. Peter volunteered for several great events such as Bluesfest, Jazzfest, Folkfest, The Animation Festival, The LPGA Tour, Rednose, The 2010 Vancouver Olympics, FIFA Soccer, IIHF Hockey, Peter's dedication to amateur sports cannot be overstated. He also enjoyed serving Christmas meals at the Carleton tavern. Just to name a few.
Peter loved spending time in Florida and loved his golf.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 9 at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road. The visitation will start at 11 a.m. followed by a service in the Chapel at 12 p.m. Peter's family also welcomes everyone for a reception following the service.
If you would wish to donate in Peter's memory, the family would appreciate donations to be made to the Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital.
