Peter Robin DeMaine “Pete” Neesham, 67, of Rockport, Texas, passed away on August 31, 2025.

Pete was born in Calgary, Canada to Robin DeMaine Neesham and Phoebe Paige Thompson and grew up in San Antonio, Texas. After high school, he honorably served in the U.S. Navy. Following his military service, Pete enjoyed a long and successful career in automobile sales and lived for two decades in Arlington. Upon retiring, he moved to Rockport, where he quickly became a beloved member of the community.

Pete was a proud father and grandfather who treasured time with his family. Known for his sharp wit and easy humor, he had a gift for brightening everyday moments and making others feel at ease. He was also admired for his love of reading, his keen political insight, and his passion for golf.

He is survived by his children, Weston and Alexandra; his grandchildren, Cecilia and Callahan; and his younger brother, Jeremy Neesham. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his warmth, steadfast presence, and the many friendships he cultivated throughout his life.

Funeral and memorial arrangements are being made, and details will be shared once available.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or First Presbyterian Church of Rockport.
