It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and uncle, Peter Ramirez Jr., who left us peacefully on March 26, 2025, at the age of 65, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 13, 1959, Peter spent most of his life in La Puente, where he built a warm and welcoming community.
Peter graduated from Bassett High School in the class of 1977 and later proudly served in the United States Army for three years. During his service, he had the opportunity to march throughout Europe, earning several medals along the way, a testament to his dedication and commitment.
A natural handyman, Peter enjoyed helping those in his neighborhood and made many lasting friendships. His generosity and kindness touched the lives of many, and he leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion.
An avid sports fan, Peter passionately supported the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bulls, California Angels, and Los Angeles Kings and loved collecting memorabilia from each team. His enthusiasm for sports brought joy and connection to those around him.
Peter's zest for life was encapsulated in his appreciation for the beauty of every day. Though Peter is no longer with us, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He is deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
"None of us have the promise of tomorrow. God forbid this is the last day on this beautiful earth, it won't be spent listening to some newsman telling me how rotten we are, how rotten life is, heck no. I'm going out and seeing how beautiful life is. As humans, our time on this planet is very limited Turn off, tune out, and turn on your life. PEACE" -Frank Zappa
"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."-Dr. Seuss
Rest in peace, dear Peter; your light will continue to shine in the lives you've touched.
