Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers for Pete´s family.
He was a great story teller. On Monday, August 15, 2022, he and his son stopped by, in their truck, to say hello as I was leaving my garage.
He always had a story. This is the story he told me that day:
"Age 10, my Father took me to see the movie PATTON, we saw it twice, so I would have a vivid sense of History. The movie had lots bad words but were effective. I remembered them, all of them and thought it a good idea to use them next day in school. Well that did not go over well with teachers. My parents were called, I caught the devil, and had to unlearn my newly acquired language skills."
The story, as he told it, was both poignant and funny.
Pete was a patriotic man, a loving family man, a loyal friend. He had exceptional knowledge of building materials and mechanics and, oh yes, his special kind of music.
He will be missed and remembered with respect and love.
