Peter Reese Obituary

Peter was born February 5, 1957 in Oneida, NY, a son of the late Lee Reese and Mary (Gau) Reese. He was a graduate of Oneida Senior High School, Class of 1976. In 2024, he retired from Chase Bank of Oneida, where he'd served many years as lead teller. He previously worked in real estate, men's clothing retail sales, and newspaper delivery.
Peter enjoyed bowling, tennis and canoeing. Antiquing and collecting were among his favorite hobbies, and he especially enjoyed attending The Bouckville Antique Festival annually. The Adirondacks, particularly Old Forge and Nick's Lake, and the Massachusetts coast were among his favorite vacation spots.
He is survived by his children Braden C. Reese and Karlee Iacovissi (Anthony); two grandchildren Eleanor and Ethan Iacovissi; two brothers Larry Reese (Chris) and Douglas Reese (Margaret); four nieces and nephews Jeffrey Reese (Melissa), Valerie Reese, Meghan Reese, and Emily Zieno (Matthew); his ex-wife and mother of his children Cynthia Scoville Reese; and his best friend Robert Blake.
A private, family-only gathering will be scheduled at a later date. There will be no public calling hours or memorial.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wanderers Rest Humane Association Inc. in Peter's memory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc. 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440.
