Peter P. Roberts

Peter Payson Roberts, age 73, was born on December 22, 1951, and passed away on December 20, 2025, in the presence of his son, wife, his beloved sister Paula, his nephew Daniel "Danny" Flood, and his long-time friends Willie Hegstrom and Heather Reid.

He was the son of Dale Eugene Roberts and Nancy Goodwin, and was preceded in death by his brother, Alan Roberts.

Peter came into this life on a wing and a prayer, born prematurely. He quickly rebounded and took life on with determination, grit, and a fearless spirit. A man of many talents and trades, he was known to be the light of the party, always ready with a good laugh and marked by an undying loyalty to his friends and family.

Peter enjoyed a simple life, living on the land and embracing the freedom of camping on a whim. He loved seafood and cherished lobster bakes on the beach, finding joy in the uncomplicated moments spent outdoors and close to the water. He valued long-standing friendships, especially with Charles Segar and Willie Hegstrom, who assisted the family during this difficult time. Roland Chase is also remembered as a valued and meaningful part of Peter's life.

Peter is survived by his son, Peter Dale Roberts Sr., and his wife Sabrina Roberts of Brooks, Maine, and their son, Peter Dale Roberts Jr., and his wife Lindsay Roberts; and by his daughter, Emily Anne Karawadra, and her husband Dee Karawadra of Oakland, Tennessee, and their three daughters, Morgan Lee Withee, Maya Kelley Karawadra, and Leena Audrey Karawadra. All of his grandchildren will forever cherish their adventures with Grampa.

He is also survived by his sister, Paula Roberts Welch, and his nephews, the late Joshua Eugene Flood and Daniel "Danny" Flood, whom he loved very much.
