Peter Adam Sanchez, 44, of Oxnard, California, passed away on January 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Peter is survived by his devoted wife, Stefanie Sanchez, and his three beloved children, Olivia, Elijah, and Ellie Sanchez, who were the center of his world. Being a husband and dad was Peter’s greatest joy, and everything he did was for his family. He loved deeply, laughed loudly, and made sure the people he cared about always felt loved and supported.
Peter was known for his love of good food, his passion for hiking, and his joy in hosting family gatherings. He had a rare gift for filling every room with laughter, always joking, and always bringing people together. His energy, warmth, and genuine kindness touched everyone who knew him, and he lived life with a full and generous heart.
In May, Peter was diagnosed with cancer. He faced his illness with incredible courage, strength, and faith, never losing hope even in the hardest moments. His faith in God was the foundation of his life and a source of peace and comfort throughout his journey. Peter truly lived by the words, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13), and his trust in God inspired our family and all who walked alongside him.
Despite his brave fight, Peter passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026. His faith brought comfort to his family and peace to him in his final days, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering trust in God.
In addition to his wife and children, Peter is survived by his parents, Carlotta and Greg Davis; his sister, Angela Majeno (Anthony); his brothers, Matt Davis, Nick Davis (Adriana), Shawnte Davis (Saysha), Greg Davis Jr., and Terrell Davis; his grandmother, Ramona Harris; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bennie Paul Sanchez, and his grandfathers, Bennie Harris and Adam Flores.
Services will be held at New Life Community Church, officiated by Pastor Phillip, followed by a graveside service at Carpinteria Cemetery with a Celebration of Life gathering to follow.
Peter will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the joy he brought into the lives of others and the love he poured into his family.
