We all miss Pete very much. He was such a lovely man. He was funny, loving, kind and generous and is missed, like his wife Liz, by many.

Melissa, Michael and your families,
We share our sincere sympathies with you all as you grieve your father and grandfather. Peter was such a wonderful friend and neighbor to my Aunt and Uncle and they adored him and your mom so much! His smile was radiant and reflective of the loves in his life, all of you and your mom, whom he missed dearly. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Peter and Liz were such wonderful people. So sad they both passed way too young. Our love and condolences to Michael and Melissa.

To the Semenza Family,
I want to express my sincere condolences to
Peter’s family on his passing. Peter was a colleague and dear friend of mine over all his years at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. We remained friends and enjoyed annual lunch meetings where he talked so proudly of his children and grandchildren. He was a wonderful man, always there to help a colleague, especially with his financial acumen, and was kind, caring, smart and sensitive. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Melissa and Mikey,
I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Dave told me and I immediately thought of you kids and how much you meant to him and your dear mother. He was a great guy, wonderful father, and always had a smile on his face . He was generous and welcoming and boy could he do taxes! Although this is a very sad time for you, know that he and your Mom are together again and they will always be watching over you and your children.
My sincerest condolences,
Jackie Shea

I regret that I cannot attend the services in honor of Peter but I wish to extend my sincere condolences to his family and friends. We used to tease that he could do miracles to balance a budget but it wasn't miracles, just hard work and a lot of it. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to work with Peter for many years and will have very fond memories of him. James Fallon, former VP Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
