Peter Sporn Obituary
A long-time South Jersey area resident, Peter worked as a butcher for 35+years. He was a long term member of the Elks club in Beverly. Throughout his life he enjoyed boating, spending time with family, yardwork, and cooking a "good meal". He spent his adult life dedicated to his wife Patty and their four children and continued to do so when the next generation came along- his seven grandchildren. Peter loved his family unconditionally. Whether you called him Pete, Dad, Poppop, or simply Mr Sporn, knowing him meant you had a shoulder to lean on for life.
His surviving family includes his wife Patricia, sons Peter(Lacey) and Michael (Nicole), daughter Tracey(Mike), grandchildren Makenzie, Johanna, Michael Jr, Tenley, Hayden, Madden, and Grayson, brothers Clifford (Jan) and Matthew (MaryJane) and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
When Peter went to be with the Lord, he would be met by dear family members who have passed before him. His mother (Arlene Sporn), father (Manual Sporn), step-mother (Harriet Sporn), and his cherished son (Timothy Sporn).
Funeral services for Peter will be held on Saturday November 2nd, 2024 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 121 High Street, Mount Holly, NJ, at 11am. Interment will follow in the St. Andrew's Graveyard, Mt. Holly. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with his family on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, from 9:30-10:30am at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mt. Holly, NJ prior to the start of the services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Elks Club in Beverly, NJ
