Peter Starzynski Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gail, his in-laws Dennis (Carrie) Gauthier, Marcia (Brian) LeBlanc, Joann Kaluza, Andrea Gauthier, and many nieces and nephews.
Peter is preceded in death by his siblings Ann Surdacki, Olga Wlasik, and Paul Starzynski.
His wife Gail was his constant companion through life's joys and adventures, including camping, travel and cruising. Pete enjoyed sharing a good time with friends, playing cards and games, and a good beer. He retired after 42 years with Mercy/Trinity Hospitals.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Scripture service at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 22412 Overlake St., St. Clair Shores, MI 48080, where Peter will lie in state at 9:30 a.m., with Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the staff at Beachwood Manor for the exceptional care and compassion they provided.
