Peter Alan Stenborg

STENBORG, PETER ALAN, of Deland, Florida, formerly of Clarkston, Michigan passed away December 24, 2024 at 83 years of age. Peter was born on August 8, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Fred and Eleanor Howlett Stenborg. He graduated from Redford High School. He was the facilities manager for North Oakland Medical Center in Pontiac retiring in 2000. In his spare time, he enjoyed his family, carpentry and gardening. Peter was preceded in death by Gail M. (née Castator) Stenborg, his beloved wife of 51 years and mother of his children; dear father of Peter (Diane) Stenborg II and Lori (Courtney) Borror; grandfather of Peter (Ericka) III and Lindsey; great grandfather of Annaliese, Peter IV, and Addalee; brother of Pennie (Bill) Szykula, Pamela (Barry) Stenborg, Patti (Billy) Heidtman, Peggy Romer, Paula (Matthew) Lahti, and Polly (Martin) Gagern; and preceded in death by his brothers, Paul, Perry, Preston, and Patton.
Peter is survived by his wife, Martha Waters whom he married in 2012 and her children; Wallace (LeeAnn) Baily and Anna (Loren) Peele; grandchildren, Macy, Sienna, Taylor, and Corinna; and great grandchildren Olivia and Xander.
