James Olaf Stenborg was born May 12th 1935 to Olaf and Hazel Stenborg in Bagley Minnesota. He Graduated from MIT in 1956. He served in the United States Army for a few years and received an honorable discharge in April 1963. Jim married Marjorie Huie and had 3 children. They divorced in 1974. Jim met Mary Ellen Casteel in 1977 and they were married April 21, 1978 in Clayton Missouri by a Judge. Jim and Mary Ellen loved to travel and play golf. They lived in many different places . They finally settled down in Sun City , Georgetown, Texas until Mary Ellen became ill in May of 2019 and they relocated to Temple, Tx to be close to Niece and Nephew. Mary Ellen passed away on July 1, 2019 . Jim continued to live in Temple until his passing on January 11, 2024 at the age of 88 years.
He has left behind 3 children, grandchildren, a sister, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
