Peter J. Taliercio

Mr. Peter J. Taliercio of Port Jervis, NY died Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. He was 64. He was born July 16, 1960 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Michael Taliercio and the late Elizabeth Rushton Taliercio. Peter retired after many years as a truck driver for Royal Furniture in Port Jervis, NY.
A family statement read: Peter was a simple man with an old soul and a great sense of humor. Peter loved his family and loved his job. He also loved to watch the old black and white movies and collected old baseball cards. He was an avid sports fan but baseball was his favorite and his favorite team was the New York Yankees The family would like to express their gratitude to all the healthcare professionals who cared for and treated Peter, especially the staff at Bon Secours Community Hospital who cared for Peter with kindness and dignity during his final days.
Surviving are his 2 loving brothers: Angelo Taliercio and his wife Christine and Gino Taliercio and his wife Ellen as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Peter is predeceased by his loving siblings Michael Taliercio, Elizabeth "Betty Jean" Taliercio, and Louise Riginio.
Family and friends are invited to visit the Gray Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Anthony Giacona officiating.
Burial will be at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA.
