Mrs. Ruth Ann Finger of Port Jervis, NY, died Saturday, February 7, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 81.

She was born September 5, 1944 in Warwick, NY, the daughter of the late Andrew Riggs and the late Gertrude L. Brown Riggs.

Ruth was united in marriage to her loving husband, Herbert Finger, on August 25, 1962 in Warwick, NY. Together they shared 52 wonderful years of marriage, building a beautiful life and family before his passing in 2014.

Ruth worked for many years as a cashier at Rite Aid in Warwick, where she was known for her friendly smile and warm personality. She was a proud member of the Deerpark Seniors and cherished the time she spent gathering with friends.

Ruth had a special love for her collection of bells and enjoyed taking day trips to the Poconos - trips that often ended with a stop at The Cheesecake Factory. She also loved dining out with her family at her favorite restaurants, Red Lobster and Olive Garden. She would enjoy snapchatting with her granddaughter, Holly, who she affectionately referred to as, "Grandma's Girl". She also loved her Bingo games with her granddaughter Heather and Holly, where she would win often. Above all else, Ruth treasured the time she spent with her family. She was one of the most caring and lovable people to be around, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are: her beloved children, Pamela and Herbert Finger; her siblings, Andrew Riggs, Michael B. Dombrowski III, and Thomas Dombrowski; grandchildren, Holly and Heather Finger; Nephew, Buddy Bennett; Niece, Melissa Opper; and daughter-in-law, Tammy Reck.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. A service will follow at 6:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Amy Garrett officiating.

Cremation will be at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA.

A burial of cremains will be held in the spring in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY.
