Stephen Aldom Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Gray-Parker Funeral Home on Feb. 21, 2026.
Stephen D. "Muldoon" Aldom of Westfall PA passed away on February 19th, 2026, surrounded by his children.

Steve was born on January 14th, 1956 in Montclair NJ to Robert S. and Gladys Aldom.

Steve was a man who wore many hats, from becoming a master welder to obtaining his CDL and driving tractor trailers cross country. There was nothing he couldn't teach himself or learn.

He last worked for Covanta incinerator plant in Newark NJ for over 30 years.

Steve was a member of the Montague Volunteer Fire Dept for 17 years and rose to the rank of Captain. He would jokingly say he became a volunteer because he wanted to play with fire, but at his core he was a helper and wanted to do good and help in all ways possible. Steve had the "gift of gab", making friends with anyone he met, freely giving of his time and assistance to anyone who needed it. He loved his friends and family fiercely and forgave effortlessly.

Steve was happiest when he was riding his Harley. Being on his motorcycle was his happy place. He loved to go as fast as he possibly could. He was never one to be found sitting still for too long.

When he was no longer able to ride, he turned to off roading with his Jeep Gladiator. Driving solo to Moab, UT and completing trails including Top of the world, Hell's Revenge, Steel Bender, and many more.

Steve is survived by his daughter Brittany (Evan), son David, grandson Draven and Wife Lynn. Sisters Barbara Curry (Chris), Nancy Bacon (Jon) and Tish Aldom, along with many nieces and nephews.

He is pre-deceased by this mother and father, the family takes comfort in knowing they are reunited.

At Steve's request, cremation has taken place and no services will be scheduled.

Donations in Steve's name may be made to Bideawee animal rescue.
